Who we are

We're The F Network.  But who are we?  We are fascinated by those who have conquered adversities and challenges, who have been able to surmount problems and emerged triumphant.  And so we're here: to show and highlight those who have been to the brink of disaster, those who have seen their lowest point, and still turned around, and say, "No, this is not what I am here for, this not my future.  The Universe will take care of me, and something good will turn up one day soon."  Someone once said that "Failure is not the opposite of success, it's part of success."  We subscribe to this belief.

In my youth, I distinctly remember my maternal grandmother saying "there is no Easter Sunday without a Good Friday."  I've had my ample share of Good Fridays, been in very deep waters and not being a very good swimmer, those were really scary times.  I'm not saying that I'm all good now.  Because for sure there will be new and more challenges to come and surmount.  The hope is that through The F Network, the men and women whom I will feature and know about, will in one way or another, help me become stronger than what I am facing, and emerge victorious and triumphant.

And what a better and perfect day to start my F Network journey, on ANZAC Day, 25 April 2017.
